Golf in Peru
We have 13 golf courses in Peru in our golf course database.
Are you looking for something new and exciting to do on your next vacation? I mean, really exciting? Do you love golf? Then you MUST try the Peru’s Amazon Golf course. This course takes golfing to a whole different level, an extreme level.
First, getting to the Iquitos, one of Peru’s busiest cities, is a thrill of its own. The city is only accessible by air and by boat. The course is located in the jungle, at the end of an unmarked, unbeaten dirt road, about 45 minutes of the city. The management suggests taking a “moto-kar,” a motorized vehicle that is sturdy enough to handle the jungle terrain. Once you arrive you will realize that there is no clubhouse or any other typical golf amenities, because this game of golf is going to be unlike anything you have ever experienced.
You will be joined on the course by caimans, possibly a red-tailed boa constrictor or two, and do not try to retrieve your ball from water hazards; there are piranhas in the water! You are actually issued a machete with your golf clubs. This course is for extreme golfers only!

Hit the ball pretty solid. Haven't played a lot of golf this year, so was really unsure of what it would be like. I've been playing pretty well lately, especially hitting the ball solid.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
